Art Outsource Manager

Skillsearch is recruiting for an Art Outsource Manager on behalf of an innovative and independent game development studio. This 12-month fixed-term contract role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the creation of a new multiplayer cooperative game with a unique and imaginative concept. The studio is focused on delivering games that spark creativity and fun, and they are looking for a dedicated professional to manage the art outsourcing process.

In this role, you will be instrumental in managing relationships with external vendors, ensuring high-quality content delivery, and collaborating closely with the internal production and art teams. Key Responsibilities:

• Quickly immerse yourself in the game’s creative vision and collaborate with the Art Lead and Art Director to set asset specifications.
• Work closely with the LiveOps team to identify ongoing project needs and align them with outsourcing capabilities.
• Establish relationships with external vendors and partners, ensuring efficient and high-quality asset delivery.
• Create and implement a streamlined pipeline for asset production, reviews, revisions, and approvals.
• Proactively manage the outsourcing process, including sourcing, onboarding, and maintaining communication with external studios and artists.
• Oversee the feedback process, balancing quality with timely delivery.
• Regularly evaluate the performance and quality of external partners to ensure alignment with project standards.
• Manage the outsourcing budget effectively.

What We’re Looking For:

• Strong communication skills with experience in negotiating contracts and establishing costs and deliverables.
• Experience in a production or delivery-focused role within the creative industry.
• Experience working on Live Service projects is highly desirable.
