Art Manager – 12867

Are you an experienced artist looking to manage the development of art for AAA games? Does the sound of being the backbone for a growing art department sound like the role for you? If so read on!

As an Art Manager in Farnborough, you will be dedicated to nurturing and developing artists across multiple projects. You will act as the bridge between creativity and practicalities in the department to maintain a balance and allow the department to create the best content they can.

This AAA award-winning studio has an impressive reputation of working on some huge, world-famous IPs of the gaming and entertainment world. With their veteran, multi-cultural team, anyone is welcomed into their studio with open arms! Requirements

  • Artist with experience delivering AAA game developments
  • Experience executing cohesive aesthetics across multiple styles, platforms and genres
  • Understanding the production side of art content as well as the creativity
  • Able to plan both long term and short-term requirements for the studio projects
  • Can demonstrate solid working knowledge of contemporary pipeline software and working practices
  • Strong communication skills to enable clear and concise feedback, mentoring and critiquing of the art department

Responsibilities

  • Working alongside the production team leaders to ensure art resources are appropriate and planned for
  • Growing and developing the art team for personal review, career progressions and recruitment
  • Liaising with the art directors to execute any given art styles or visions
  • Building a plan for immediate, midterm and long-term artistic ambitions
  • Identifying areas in need of mentoring, support, further development and feedback
  • Organising the art team to follow a cohesive vision and execute specific goals and deadlines
