Art Lead in Shanghai

As an Art Lead at this studio in Shanghai, you will be looking after IP and creative as you work with concept artists, illustrators, graffiti artists, and more to create impressive and high-quality art assets for new and existing game projects. If you’re a creative and passionate game enthusiast, then you’ll be a great fit for this role. 

This studio is passionate about player-focused game development, with a well-loved and critically acclaimed IP under their belt, which is ever-evolving, this studio is set for plenty more success in their future, so it’s a great time to join them! 

Art Lead key responsibilities: 

  • Drive visuals to an impressive and competitive level 
  • Commit to enhancing the player experience 
  • Aspire to lead the industry 
  • Lead the art team 
  • Identify risks and strategic opportunities 
  • Take on accountability for results 
  • Work alongside a cross-disciplinary team 
  • Deliver quality art within the time and budget constraints 

Essential requirements for this role in Shanghai: 

  • University degree (or equivalent experience) 
  • Extensive professional experience in an art, art development, or similar role 
  • Significant experience of art quality control and team management 
  • Extensive knowledge in art and visual development 
  • Experience of art, creative, IP development, branding, marketing, games, animation, and others 
  • Passionate about gaming 
  • Fluent in Mandarin and English
