Art Director

As a pioneer of a new IP and growing studio, this role demands the ability to draw upon a deep set of experiences and a readiness to take on new challenges. It requires individual artistic expertise and the capacity to drive, mentor and empower other specialist team members. 

In your first few weeks in this Art Director role, you can expect to: 

• Recruit and direct a team of creative and technical experts within the art discipline 
• Mentor, appraise, and facilitate the professional growth of team members 
• Establish and guard standards and consistency of art execution for internal and external teams 
• Liaise with design and world stakeholders to help develop and maintain a consistent visual language 

To apply for this Art Director role, you will need at least 7 years of games industry art and technical art experience. You will also require the following: 

• Shipped titles as Art Director, Art Lead, or Senior Artist (or Environment or Technical Art equivalent roles) 
• AAA or console game development experience and a grasp of two or more domains (ie 3D Art, 2D, Technical Art, Lighting, Animation, etc.) 
• Experience developing a stylised and semi-realistic art direction 
• Experience developing large-scale open-world and sandbox games.
