Animation Production Director

Skillsearch is helping a games studio find an experienced Animation Production Director to join their inclusive and collaborative team in Edinburgh. The full-time role comes with a generous salary and benefits package. 

As an Animation Production Director, you will oversee building, managing, and leading the global animation production team. You will also provide guidance and direction to ensure project goals and deliverables are clearly communicated and achieved.  

In your first few weeks in this role, you can expect to: 

• Coach members of the Production team on how to identify and anticipate risks associated with projects currently in development, and propose effective solutions 
• Negotiate requirements and their priority for competing projects and feature requests across multiple teams 
• Continue to develop and improve new and existing production methodologies. 

To apply for this Animation Director role, you will need extensive management experience in a production or development environment. You will also require the following: 

• Demonstrable experience producing and shipping AAA games in a leadership role 
• Experience developing and mentoring a team of producers 
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work with a variety of different personalities.
