Our client is looking for an AI Programmer to join our inclusive team in Malmö, Sweden, and/or London, UK. This full-time AI Programming role comes with a generous salary and some excellent benefits, including the chance to work in a prime Malmö location.
As an AI Programmer, you will work closely with the design, art, and other teams to create different types of agents in the game. You will also make the world full of life while making sure to reach set performance targets. You will be a skilled AI programmer that can analyze and dissect AI behaviours and what makes them operate.
In your first few weeks in this AI role, you can expect to:
- Work closely with the design, art, and other teams to create different types of agents in the game
- Design highly performant systems that support many agents
- Help or lead AI-related feature implementation
To apply for this AI role, you will need several years of game development experience and advanced/expert knowledge in C++ (or equivalent programming language). You will also require the following:
- The ability to enjoy working with multiple different disciplines to create interesting AI agents and the encounters surrounding them
- Good understanding of how to design, implement, and work in a feature-rich game engine
- Ability to analyse and dissect AI behaviours and what makes them work
- Effective communication and collaboration skills with other development disciplines
