As an AI Programmer, you will use decision trees in Unreal and other AI systems to create fun and engagement, working closely with the creative team to deliver features and improve workflows, functionality and interfaces.
In your first few weeks in this AI Programmer role, you can expect to:
- Take ownership of the AI work, working closely together with the tech leads to make it fit the complete codebase
- Help develop, expand, maintain, and support AI systems, tools, and AI related gameplay elements.
To apply for this AI Programmer role, you will need experience with real-time AI systems, such as decision trees to create challenging and engaging enemies for shooter games or similar. You will also require the following:
- Experience writing several games in C++ and a thorough understanding of the basic concepts of the language
- At least one project in your portfolio using Unreal
- An understanding of blueprints and optimising code through C++.
