Accounts Assistant

Skillsearch has an exciting opportunity for an experienced and collaborative Accounts Assistant to join an inclusive and welcoming team in Hereford. This full-time role offers a salary of £25,000 per annum and excellent employee benefits. 

As an Accounts Assistant, you will be processing sales invoices and using databases.  

If you were already in this Accounts Assistant role, here are some of the areas you would have been working in this week: 

• Processing sales invoices, importing sales data into both Sage Accounts and a Microsoft Access sales database 
• Producing monthly sales reports from Microsoft Access and Excel 
• Posting customer receipts to customer ledgers in Sage Accounts 
• Assisting with credit control, customer credit insurance management and customer queries. 

To apply, you will need previous experience using complex spreadsheets in Microsoft Office Excel. You will also require the following: 

• Knowledge of Sage Accounts and Sage Payroll 
• The ability to work accurately and in an organised way 
• Experience with stock valuation and reports. 

In return for your dedication, collaboration and commitment, you will receive a salary of £25,000 and benefits including a life insurance scheme (2 x annual salary, eligible after six months of service), free refreshments (tea and coffee) and free onsite parking.
