A globally recognised gaming studio based in the Netherlands and has an opening for a Technical Artist. This excellent opportunity will be ideal for a motivated and talented artist with a proven track record and ambition to work on world class AAA titles.

You will be contributing to the artistic vision and development of future projects using a combination of technical and traditional fine art skills. 

The role requires a high level of versatility and hands on work – you will effectively collaborate with a wide range of team members, from the Senior Coder and Creative Director, to designers, programmers and animators.

As well as high level planning and concept work, you’ll also be expected to take a hands-on approach and build, draw and design actual assets too. Therefore you should have 2+ years industry experience working on AAA titles and a strong portfolio demonstrating your artistic flair. 

Responsibilities:

Define the techniques and processes utilized to achieve the game’s visual style and bring to life our futuristic vision.·     
  
Lead a small team of artists to deliver a product of the highest possible quality, maintaining a consistent visual style across all disciplines.

Work with the Senior Coder and producer during pre-production to develop a comprehensive art production pipeline including a comprehensive plan for all tools and systems associated with the creation of art assets.

Content creation; 3D modelling, texture map painting, UV layout, material setup/implementation, animation, rigging and lighting according to defined quality standards, artistic styles, conceptual designs, technical parameters and production goals.
