3D Character Artist – 12914 

Are you a character artist looking for an opportunity to create 3D work that brings people together? Do you want to be a part of the art creation from concept to details? If so, read on for more details on the role… 

As a 3D Character Artist you will be working fully remotely with the option to come to Barcelona, an incredible city to live and work in.  

This studio is working on experiences which focus on bringing people together and are passionate about being a player first studio as they strive to bring their communities the ultimate gaming experience. As a part of the team, you will get to enjoy their flexible working hours, a friendly team, the chance to work with cutting-edge tech and the opportunity to travel onsite to Barcelona!  

Requirements 

  • Experience as an artist within the games industry and able to work with different levels of detail 
  • Knowledge of 3D pipelines and technical constraints on game development  
  • Experience working with Unreal Engine and in Blender 
  • Understanding of facial anatomy and topology for cinematic level character animation 

Responsibilities 

  • Creating high quality 3D model characters and the extra assets such as weapons 
  • Covering the entire pipeline process, from the sculpting to the final texturing integrated in Unreal Engine 
  • Communicating with the art lead, technical artist, and the animators to ensure that all the technical requirements are covered 
  • Collaborating with concept artists and directors to maintain the visual style and quality throughout the project
