Games Brains of Brighton 2022
Our annual Games Brains of Brighton quiz is back and better than ever! After a hiatus thanks to Covid, it came back with a bang for its sixth year…
As well as working with Ecologi, we’re extremely proud to continuously support SpecialEffect as lour primary charity partner. SpecialEffect is on a mission to put fun and inclusion back into the lives of disabled people around the globe, and at Skillsearch we’re dedicated to supporting this mission as effectively as we can.
As a result, we regularly attend and host events in aid of SpecialEffect – our two annual events being Games Brains of Brighton and Play@Develop.

Games Brains of Brighton is an annual quiz during the festive period where we invite the games studios of Brighton down to take part, with a fee for attendance which is directly donated to SpecialEffect.

Play@Develop is our summertime event, hosted on the second day of the annual Develop Conference in Brighton. We take this opportunity to invite conference-goers down to the beach to mingle and relax whilst enjoying the sun, as well as take part in raffles and competitions, with all proceedings going to SpecialEffect.

SpecialEffect’s One Special Day is always a big day in the games industry, and as it was an extra special year for SpecialEffect, their 15th anniversary, we wanted to do something extra to commemorate the occasion and raise as much money as possible towards this very worthy cause.

Develop conference is always a team favourite at Skillsearch as it takes place in the city that we know and love. As our offices are based in the heart of the Lanes, I thought it would be nice to pass on some of our local knowledge of some of the activities you can’t miss whilst in our seaside city.
