Pocket Gamer Connects - January 20th-21st
First held in London in 2014, this leading game industry event is now featured annually in five major global cities and is the biggest mobile games event in Europe.
Each event hosts conferences that cover critical games industry issues and current trends as well as dedicated business match activities to bring together small developers with big investors.
There will also be speakers from some big players in the industry including people from Neogames, Rovio Entertainment, Skybound Interactive, Unity, King and Resolution Games.
Attendees of Pocket Gamer Connects can’t get enough year on year with 96% of delegates stating that they would come again, so this is definitely an event worth checking out!

Games for Good - January 22nd
The games industry has a lot of pull in this modern age, and Games for Good celebrates people who are using this power and reach for positive change.
Organised by Space Ape Games, Games for Good brings people together from the industry who are using or want to use gaming for public good. The event will be made up of talks from several studios and charities, including Special Effect, who are all on a mission to bring about positive changes through their platform. These ideas range from climate change awareness to education systems in third world countries to wildlife conservation.
All proceeds for the event will be donated to WeForest

Game Technology Frenzy - January 23rd
An industry showcase involving a range of sessions debating industry themes, as well as a live esports tournament. The event partners with key players in games including UKIE, TIGA, Game Republic and Women In Games.
An informal event with interactive features and talks, and plenty of opportunities to network!
GameBizCon - January 28th
An online business matchmaking event for the industry that connects professionals in pre-scheduled video calls. The aim is to reduce travel and carbon footprint in having online meetings first, it reduces the time- and money-consuming first meetings between businesses by allowing them to do it online.
Companies can get an insight into what others offer and are looking for, then can plan real-life meetings more efficiently.
Visionaries: Pitches & Networking - January 30th

This free educational event is aimed at aspiring female students aged 11-13. It is designed to spark inspiration in the next generation of women in tech and showcase the variety of roles available in the industry.
In a pitch and presentation style competition, teams from schools will answer a brief with the help of a mentor from the industry. The winning team will be crowned the Visionaries Champions 2020!

Ukie Hub Crawl – Leamington Spa - January 31st

In a series of ‘Hub Crawls’ taking place this year organised by UKIE, the first host is Leamington Spa!
The crawl is a series of free events in various UK locations, they will bring together games businesses to learn about marketing, PR, community management and more.
This year’s crawl focuses on educating businesses on how to raise the profile of their games and businesses – A great chance to network and learn how to build your brand.
