We've been watching out for the first big GDPR fine to crop up and with all of the grey areas in the legislation, it was bound to happen.
Google has been fined 50 million euros (£44m) by the French data regulator CNIL, for a breach of the EU's data protection rules.

If your contact information is available in a public job searching domain then we may contact you to see if we can help with your job search.
When you engage with us from here your information will be added to our database to track any further correspondence. This should be communicated to you via your point of contact and will be followed by an email confirmation from the company within 30 days. We will then store this information securely until it is not relevant for us to hold it anymore. You can, however, request for your record to be removed from our database at any time.
