It Takes Two

This It Takes Two Easter egg references Hazelight’s other hit co-op game: A Way Out. When exploring the pillow fort in chapter 3 of the game, you might come across Vincent and Leo from A Way Out, who, when activated will recite lines from their game! If you activate them at the same time, they launch into a cut scene where they talk to each other...

As one of the very few positive things to come out of 2020, ACNH offers some peaceful escapism and as we find in other Nintendo games such as Mario Kart, Nintendo likes to offer crossovers within its games by offering hints of some of their other franchises. ACNH is no exception to this as we see a nod to The Legend of Zelda, specifically Ocarina of Time as ocarinas are made a craftable item in the DIY Beginners book sold by Timmy in Resident Services.

GTA 4 is unmistakeably set in a NYC-esque city and as with any New York inspired setting, there has to be an ode to the Statue of Liberty, which in this case is named the Statue of Happiness. If you take a helicopter up to the statue and keep your eyes peeled for a door between two signs labelled “no hidden content this way”, you’ll find a giant beating heart inside the statue...

Marketing Manager

Freya is our word wizard and seems to have beautiful words stored in her hands just ready to fall out onto a page. Lucky for us she has chosen to share her skill with us to look after our marketing and make everything you see as enjoyable as possible. Her favourite things to do around Brighton are visits to Devils Dyke and Ditchling Beacon to enjoy the wonderful scenery so with this and her love of words we imagine that in another life she would’ve been the heroine in a Jane Austen novel or Belle from Beauty and the Beast.
