Hottest Releases in February

Welcome to the first in this series highlighting our favorite releases for the coming month. From AAA to Indie and Mobile games to Apps - if it’s game related, it'll be on our radar.*

As Games Recruiters, we're lucky enough to see some early glimpses into what's coming up in the wonderful world of games, which makes the build-up to release day pretty exciting! Read on to see which of February's releases have got us pumped.

WARNING! This month is a bit AAA heavy - but you'll understand why once you see the beasts that are being released into the world!

5. Crackdown 3

Crackdown 3 - Agents art

More than 4 years after its initial announcement at E3, players will finally be able to get their hands on the finely crafted open-world of Crackdown 3, developed by Sumo Digital. You'll be given free reign of a futuristic city, filled to the brim with places to explore, activities to interact with and enemies to crush.

One of the most interesting features is that all this can be done solo, with a friend, or in multiplayer, so there’s a bit of something for everyone no matter how you like to game!

Crackdown 3 will be unleashed on 15th of February, and Xbox users can preload the game so they can jump right into the action! Pre-order yours here.

4. Far Cry: New Dawn

Far Cry New Dawn

Far Cry 5 was a return to form for the Far Cry franchise with beautiful environments to explore and letting us wreak havoc with an awesome variety of weapons and vehicles.

Far Cry New Dawn continues from the end of Far Cry 5 in which (spoiler alert) the world is plunged into a post-apocalyptic state through a nuclear war. Ubisoft hopes to continue the successful trend Far Cry is currently on and introduces a brand new story in the colourful but deadly world of New Dawn on February 15th on PS4, Xbox One PC.

Excited about this one? Pre-order it here

3. Jump Force

Jump Force looks to be an anime fan's dream come true! Bandai Namco has spent a lot of time and effort (and most likely a lot of money on usage rights) to gather characters from all of the top animes into one ultimate brawler. Expect appearances from characters within shows such as One Piece, Narotu, Dragon Ball Z.

You can join the fray on February 15th, on PS4, Xbox One and PC that is if you didn't sign up for the beta version that was open between the 18th and 23rd of January.

If you missed the Beta pre-order it here.

2. Metro: Exodus

Metro Exodus

The Metro series is developed and published by 4A games, and the upcoming Metro Exodus looks to be the final part in the trilogy. The previous 2 titles saw a world ravaged by nuclear warfare, in which humanity was forced underground into the dark and dingy confines of the Russian metro. The series is known for its incredible but claustrophobic atmosphere, in which every moment is a fight for survival.

Metro: Exodus places a much heavier emphasis on the world above, giving us the opportunity to explore a series of open-ended levels, scavenging for supplies and most likely getting mauled by the local wildlife…

Return to the wasteland on 15th February on PS4, Xbox One and PC! Pre-order it here.

1. Anthem

Anthem

And finally, much-loved studio, Bioware, returns to deliver what aims to be the ultimate next-gen multiplayer experience. Anthem gives us the freedom with “javelin exosuits”, giving the user the traversal ability and firepower to take on challenging missions with up to 3 other friends.

Taking inspiration from previous titles, such as Mass Effect, EA promises to deliver a lasting experience, that will be supported for years to come as live service, with planned free updates and large expansions.

Anthem will be landing on the 22nd of Feb, on PS4, Xbox One, and PC! Pre-order it here.
